  • Named in Stanford Study as one of the world’s top 0.5% most-cited scientists (based on current data from 2019) covering ~7 million scientists in 22 major fields ranging from medicine to engineering, physics, biology, economics and business. Identified the best published Swiss/Liechtenstein Information Systems researcher in the AIS Research Performance Ranking 2017-2019, and ranked #1 in the DACH area (together with three colleagues), #2 in Europe and #29 in the world. Also, listed as one of the Top 20 Management Professors by Wirtschaftswoche both in 2018 and 2020 out of over 3`000 researcher across all fields). Recipient of more than €40 million in research funding from international research foundations and local industry as well as of more than 30 international awards, incl. the Emerald Literati Network Award 2014 and 2015, the ICIS Best Paper Award 2015 and the AIS Senior Scholars` Best Publication of 2016 Award.
